我が家にはトイレが二つある。ティピの中に穴を掘ったトイレと初期から使っているバケットに板を乗せた写真の物。最近気温が上がったのもあってバケットの中は虫だらけになってしまった。まあ隙間だらけだし何の対策もせずに放置だったから仕方がないのだが…
We have two toilets. One is a shit hole in the tipi and the other is a portable bucket with sheet boards. This bucket one is an open air toilet located near our tent. And its full of insects now. I guess it warm and I didn’t do a thing to prevent insects…I need to do something.
そこで前々から作ってみたかった分別式で攪拌機能を付けた新たなコンポストトイレを作る事に！
ホームセンターで物色したパーツ達を～
I had an idea for a long time and that idea might be a solution for our toilet issue. Which has functions to separate human waste and mix to accelerate compost!
Got these items at a DIY store.
繋いで、端材を加工。
Jointing them together and created the base with a scrap board.
新たに貰ってきたバケットに金具を取り付ける。
Putting T-parts on a new old bucket.

合体！攪拌は車のジャッキのハンドルをアイボルト(輪っか部分)に引っ掛けてクルクルします。
Combine them together! To mix it I use a jack handle hooking up into the eyebolt.
アルミの漏斗を手で曲げて嵌める。掃除の時は蝶ネジを外せば攪拌部を取り出せる仕様に。
An aluminium funnel is easy to bent with just hands. And loose the thumbscrews and take everything out to clean the bucket.
ホースは出したけど尿を貯めるタンクはどうしようかな～、あと攪拌は問題ないだろうけど分便できるかが心配。でも上手くいけばポータブルコンポストトイレ業界に新たな旋風が吹き荒れるかも、まあ今日はここまでで。
Stir function is working smooth. But separating function might be tricky for female…well we’ll find out soon. It might bring a new wave for the portable compost toilet world if it works well. Let’s see~
