クエン酸と重曹を使いこなせば洗剤なんて無用なんだって～、更にクエン酸には赤錆を落としやすくする力があるらしい！

If you have citrus acid and baking soda you don’t need any detergent. Also citrus acid works on rust!

お湯にクエン酸を溶かして鉈と斧を沈めてみると～

Put some citrus acid into hot water then sink the metal stuff.

これはクエン酸が鉄の表面を溶解(分解)して出てきた酸素で、その上にある赤錆を浮き出させてるらしい。

一晩置いたら何故か黒くなってた。これは黒錆が発生してる模様、最終工程では表面を黒錆でコーティングして赤錆予防するんだけど今回は金ブラシで磨いて落とします。黒くなっていない斧は前回の研磨の作業無しでクエン酸処理をしたもの、研磨してからの方が効果大！

ブラシをかけると簡単に錆も落ちて前回の磨いた状態より少し黒ずんだ状態に。次は鉈の柄を作り、斧の柄を加工して、仕上げの黒錆コーティングを予定してます。世の中には簡単で便利なのに知らない事がいっぱいだな～
