そんなに急いで作ったら壊れるよね～

まあ使用中はアーチ上部のレンガがズレただけで問題無くピザは焼けたけど、見た目も悪いのでやり直す事に。

Obviously it broke a little making in rush~

Well it was no prob having the pizza party the other day. But a few bricks on the arch was little off so I decided to redo the arch.

サクッと修正、今回は廃材で開口部を作りレンガの間に粘土を詰めた。前回はダンボールで作ったけど強度と精度で木材に変更しました。

This time I made a wooden guide for holding bricks instead of cardboard. The cardboard was ok but wood is stronger and more precision is promised.

そして最期になる三層目を施工。

ちょっと水分が多かったのでひび割れそうだと思ったら翌日にはヒビだらけ～また直せば良いので強行です。

The clay was a little too wet that I expected getting cracked later. And it did a lot…hahaha.

まあるい物を持つと投げたくなりますね～

前回のアースオーブンは東京のシェアハウスで時間も予算もかけて作った、現在も多くの人が楽しんでいる事でしょう。今回はここで手に入るものを中心に材料の配分も適当に短期間で作ったので上手くいかない事も多々あり、更に修正の手間がかかった。これを依頼されて作ったら失敗だけど自分達用ならオーケー、むしろセオリーを無視した事で学ぶ事が多かった事がよかった。そうアースオーブンの作製は5日もあれば可能、でも時間をかけた方が勿論よし！まあ自然素材だから壊れても直せるのが最高だよね～

アースオーブンを各公民館にひとつどうでしょう？

This earthoven was created in 5 days with no drying time but cooking pizza. Wow no one has done it this quick right? Because it cause lots of problems and need aftercare. Well we made it in hurry and cooked pizza without having problem. But I don’t recommend making it this quick. Take time like everyone does ok.

The first earthoven I made was a project at the sharehouse in Tokyo. We took time and the cost was all payed by the house. It stands firmly there for three years without any care. And this time most of materials are from here and ignoring the textbook. If I made this one by someones offer It’d be a failure. But for ourselves it’s ok. Also learned a lot from this one.

How about building one wherever people gather?
