テントが立ってひと段落したので、ここ最近は次なるプロジェクトに向けた準備や整理整頓作業が多い。

今回はノブのお父さんが持っていた粉砕機をお借りして、細い竹や枯れた竹をバンブーチップにしようと動きだした。

Setting up our bell tent was the must and we’ve done it. Now we work on other projects.

This time we made bamboo chips. Nobu’s dad happened to have a wood chipper. So we can use it for thin bamboos and old ones too.

まるで生きもののように鋭い歯でガシガシと硬い竹を呑み込み、ものの一種で砕いてしまう機械の破壊力は圧巻！

Wow, looks like a monster with big teeth able to crash everything!!!

出来上がったバンブーチップは泥濘んでいるところに敷き詰め、泥濘み防止と雑草予防に～

Bamboo chips were spread on the muddy spots. It works very well also easy to control weeds.

チップ同士がぶつかる時に奏でるシャラシャラという音色がなんともいえず優しくて、綺麗な音で癒された。

こういう何気ない瞬間に至福を感じる。

I love the tones the bamboo chips make when I walk on them. It certainly has a healing sound.

I feel pure bliss meeting these things.

はじめはこんなに大量の竹どうしたものか… と思っていたけど、竹の可能性を沢山感じはじめた今、あれもこれもやってみたくてワクワクしている。

自然素材で作り出す世界はやっぱり美しい～

Well at first I was worried about this much bamboos…now I see the infinite possibility. I wanna try making many things with bamboo.

ランチはテントで、いただきまーす！

今日は暖かいを通り越して暑いくらいの日差し。

Lunch time at our new home!

It was a warm day under the sun.

午後はこの大量の竹をある程度の長さで切ってまとめる作業。これらの竹で竹炭づくりをする予定。

太めな竹はノブがある程度チェーンソーで切ってくれてたんだけど、残念ながら途中でバッテリー切れに。

残されたのは人力のみ！

ここからのノブの快進撃がすごかった～

We got to clean these bamboos in the afternoon. Cut them 2,3 meter for bamboo charcoal.

Nobu used chainsaw to cut most of big ones but the battery ran out so we gotta do it with manpower!

Nobu started showing his true form.

何かに取り憑かれたかのようにひたすらハイスピードで切りまくるノブ。

まるで剣豪ならぬ鋸豪！

笑っちゃうくらいのそのスピードと集中力が本当にすごかった～

He was a monster cutting bamboos with nonhuman speed!

He became a great swordsman, no he was a great sawsman. What a speed and concentration~

STRONG NOBU！

ずっと大量の竹が転がってた場所がすっかり綺麗に片付いて気分もすっきり！

さらなるプロジェクトはつづく～

The middle of field was full of bamboos and it only got more and more everyday. And now we cleared up and I feel good.
