I woke up the middle of night. It was so bright, the full moon was shining. I think I went to sleep 7:30pm so I had enough sleep by then couldn’t sleep again. It was 3:00am.

夜中に目が醒めると満月が煌々と輝き驚くほど明るい世界にびっくりした。昨夜はまだ明るい7:30pm頃には寝ていて、3:00amに起きた時は完全に目が覚めてしまった。

Well I thought maybe a good idea to start early. So I started hiking by 4:15am.

たまには暗いうちに進むのも良いかと思い4時過ぎに出発。

There was a hot spring on the way. I took a foot bath for half hour.

11km程行ったところには露天風呂が～、30分ほど足湯を楽しんだ。

Deep Creekから離れる前に水の補給とクールダウン。

There was a picnic area by Silverwood Lake. But locals were having fun with jet skies and it was early so I kept on. Once got to campground at 329mile I found out it was closed. So I kept on ended up walking 34miles! It was a long day.

予定してたピクニックエリアは地元の民がジェットスキーで楽しんでたので、その先をめざす。でも目指したキャンプ場は閉まっていたので仕方なく更に歩いたら、なんと55kmも歩いてた。

長い1日だったな～
