The first trail closure was ahead between 168.6 and 177.3mile.

168.6～177.3mileの区間は以前に起きた火事の影響で立入禁止になっている。

There is a cafe at 151.8(2miles off). They can arrange transportation if you like or walk alternate route including road walk. There were 10+hikers at the cafe but no one heading up to closed trail but me.

トレイルから3.2km離れてるけど殆どのハイカーが立ち寄るパラダイスカフェに着くと10人以上のハイカーが居た。でも自分以外のハイカーはキャンプ場までヒッチハイクか歩いて行って、そこから別ルートを取るみたいだった。

This was the first time the PCT gets steep. And view was amazing. I wanted to do cowboy camp this night so as soon as I found a windless spot on the cliff I called it a day.

ここからPCTはリアルな山岳地帯に始めて入る。今までアップダウンは有ったがTAに比べると歩きやすくフラットだった。この日の夜はシェルター使わずにカウボーイキャンプをしたかったので景色が良くて風のない場所を探し、今迄でで一番のロケーション！
