さて二日目は最近ハマってるスタードームをみんなで作ることに。今回は野研から頂いた設計図にある基本サイズの外周18m/直径6m弱に挑戦、デカイ！

The second day’s project was Stardome! This time we made a big one~outer circumference is 18m!!!

今回は母屋の裏から真っ直ぐ目な淡竹を切り出し、二人には8本の竹を4.7mに切る作業からお願いした。

We used bamboos from the back yard. They cut eight bamboos for 4.7m long.

次に四つ割りで竹を割る手本を見せてからやってもらう、慣れると気持ちよーく割れるんだよね。

Then broke them into four pieces. It’s a fun work when you get used to.

割り終わったら節を落として行く。

次は繋ぎしろと三等分、五等分した結合部にマーキング。最終的には4.7mの竹を二本繋いで9mの材を15本用意する。

Two pieces combined together and one stick became 9m long. Then divided equally into three and five. We needed 15 pieces.

朝から遊びっぱなしだったから一旦作業はやめてスラックラインに挑戦～

Slacklining is perfect to relax. It’s not easy to just stand but fun!

姉夫婦が急遽来る事になったのでスタードームの立ち上げを手伝ってもらいました。結果的には姉夫婦いなかったら完成しなかったかも、大きくなると人手が必要になる事がよく分かった。

My sister and her family visited us this evening. Good timing when exactly we needed hands. The stardome was too big for four of us to handle with it scale.

お昼は昨日掘ってアク抜きしておいた筍入りの餃子と姉夫婦が持って来てくれたお肉をBBQで頂きました。

Gyoza was the lunch. The bamboo we got yesterday was inside of it and they were yummy! Plus my sister brought some meat so it became a feast under the stardome.

ジュンキ、ペイペイ来てくれてありがとう！まだまだ話したかったけど時間が足りなかったね～。でも浮かび上がった次の計画、ジュンキ家族が夏キャンプに来れば盛り上がること間違いなし！楽しみだな～

皆んなで作ったスタードーム、またひとつ心地の良い場所がここに生まれました、感謝です。
