The PCT will be closed from Rainy Pass 60miles before the border because of the new fire right on the PCT. I found it out last night at Holden Village. The PCT to the northern terminus is closed!

何とPCTは国境から100km手前のRainy Passで通行止になる予定だとか⁉︎これは新しくトレイル上で発生した火事の為である。昨夜Holdenに着いた時にこの情報を聞くことに…PCTのゴールであるNorthern Terminusへはハイクする事が出来ない。

Holden Village was a nice place to chill out. Holden is not on the PCT but staff here welcomes us. It’s much better to stay here than Stehekin to be honest.

Holden Villageはリラックスするのにとっても良い場所、普段はPCTハイカーは来る事は無いけど10日程前に発生した火事の回り道になっていてスタッフはハイカー達を快く受け入れてくれる。正直滞在するならStehekinよりもお勧め。

Ride a bus to the lake then ferry to Stehekin.

バスとフェリーでStehekinへ。

All the hikers were talking about it of course. But for now I could just relax here in Stehekin. I have my last food package at the post office here and it was Sunday.

全てのハイカーは勿論ゴール出来ないって話で持ちきり。今日は日曜だから送った食料は明日まで待たなきゃだし今日は此処でゆっくりする事に。

I stayed at Stehekin Valley Ranch, 9miles away from the port. because of they have great meals!

今夜はStehekin Valley Ranchってとこに泊まる事にした。Guthookのコメントによるとこの辺で一番美味しい食事が出るとか～、殆どの事をご飯中心で決めてます。
