Back to March, Our sensei, Ms.Yoko was here for baby bamboos. We were out and couldn’t see her skills. But she told me how to find them so we tried!
It was before Sakura season but Ms.Yoko thought they might be out. And she got a lot! We concentrate on our soles walking around just like Ms.Yoko told us.
Well it was hard to feel them on sole. Then Kei found the first one! I put my foot on top to see how it feels.
Wow big one I got!
We did a good job, didn’t we? Honestly we did great since it was the first time and very early season. We shared some of them to our neighbor then returned.
Ms.Yoko told us that if it freash you could eat them in raw. Also BBQing right away was one of the best.
It was so good~
We’re growing some crops in our garden but no food there yet. I sincerely thanked to this we’re able to get food here. Also we can share this baby bamboos to everyone who help us. Thank you!
