Well Kei caught a cold and we had to take a zero so here comes gear review again!
My main rain gear is Iska Ultra Silicon Rain Cape with umbrello on my head. No one wears poncho or rain cape on TA at least who we met. But we found rain cape is the best choice here. Weather here is very changeable and people who wear rain jacket get wet inside. Also most of hikers doesn’t wear them before soaked wet because of quick changeable weather.
If you’re planning to do TA I strongly recommend a rain cape. I’m always the driest person at hut after walking in rain!
