DAY113(2/26) Crooked Spur Hut to Royal Hut 2358km-2374km

“It was raining hard and windy last night during the night!” Nobu told me this morning.

Earplugs worked pretty well also I was exhausted so I was no idea about it.

It was supposed to be raining with the latest weather forecast but all the rain fell last night.

Climbing to the saddle was the start. It was steep but I felt good warming up myself in the cold morning.

Hunters were chopping up Himalayan Tahr at Stone Hut when we got there. They are Aussies came here for a hunting tour with one Kiwi hunting guide. I was surprised meeting them with two heads of Tahrs but also interested.

I love the view of streams in a vast tussock land, very photogenic!

Royal Hut

Drinking straight from a stream when the altitude is high. Lovely water!
