Travers/Sabine Lodge
Another 7 days hike awaited us. Burgers and wedges at Alpine store cafe was great! That was our starting meal for hike today.
Lake Lotoiti
The trail along the lake is well maintained and nice walk. We saw many hikers on the way.
Shower started in the middle and our umbrellas were just fine for walking native beech tree forest.
This track is through Rotoiti Nature Recovery Project area and its goal is restore native biodiversity to the beech forest.
A short day to Lake Head Hut today. We had big days most of the time at Richmond Range. So it was nice slow walk with ease feelings.
