DAY60(1/4) Jerusalem to The Flying Fox 1324km-1344km

Water level is higher from the rain last night. It color resembles to Ganges River which I felt in a nice way.

Thanks to the rain we don’t needed to paddle much. Surely flow was faster than yesterday. Also our next place was not far so we relaxed on the canoe let it bring us down.

Sandals makes your feet dry and skin get hard. Nobu’s been wearing sandalsa or bare foot and getting cracked on heels. He wanted to get a pumice stone and here we could find flowing them on the surface. Lucky him!

“Cleanest feet on this journey!” Said Nobu with a smile.

Need to concentrate at rapids some points.

The Flying Fox is located by the river in the forest. Log houses, cabins, granping tents and tent sites. Full of edible plants all over the place and somethings to play with. Beautiful place to stay!

Open shower in the forest was the best treat for me~

Dinner / Tacos flavored chili beans with cheese and tomato.

Chooks flew to get out from their place and gathering around our table.

Rain started late afternoon as usual. Weather forecast says storm was coming. Hope it won’t get worse.
