Raining hard in the morning.
My legs were stiff from yesterday. And didn’t want to walk in it. Then sun came out. Weather here is crazy in a good way.
Whakapapiti Valley Track
Tranquil forest after rain, paddles on the ground, shining leaves filtering through the trees. Some steep ups&downs which I didn’t mind at all.
What a pleasant feeling i got in stillness surrounded by singing birds, flowing streams with gentle breeze. One of our favorite trail for sure.
I tried not getting my shoes wet first but in the end they were soaked. It doesn’t matter anymore and easy walk then. But wet shoes get my feet cold and walking with it makes my feet aching.
My. Ruapehu was wearing cloud all the time. Today finally came out! Snowy top half and ridge line, beauty!
