Renova splay was the one I chose. This kinda splay changes red rust to black rust which coats the surface of this cast iron bath. You can do this chemical reaction with citrus acid and tea pack(tannin). But the bath is big and needed a lot so I chose the fast way.<\/p>\n

One problem was that these products contain epoxies for surface coating as well. I wasn\u2019t sure if that stays or not with high temperature. I needed to try and find out. Surely it came off every time it got hot. But about a week later I see no more epoxy.<\/p>\n
