Took the bus then boat ride from Te Anau Downer heading to “The finest walk in the world”.
40 individual walkers got off the boat first then 50 guided walkers started. We were among individual walkers and trail was full of people we never experienced!
4 days and 3 nights to complete Milford Track and it’s only 53.5km.
We left our tent and other stuff at Te Anau so my backpack was much lighter.
“Leave unnecessary stuff and bring fresh food!” was Nobu’s plan and 80% of his backpack was food!!!
That was why my back became so light.
Only 5 hours walk to reach the first hut. Easy peasy~
Nobu’s haka pose at helipad. I want everyone to see it live.
Our dinner was Tortellini, cheese, stuffed olives, beef pastrami, choco-chip caramel slice for desert and white wine, luxury!
